In the interview with Steve Morse Luka said:
"I wanted to make a record that has some of the feel of the great
Robert Plant/Alison Krauss collaboration."

...and he has already mentioned this album before in his last message
of the year 2007 [Date entered - Thu 13/12/07]
"My favourite record this year (2007) is by far the Robert Plant and Alison
Krauss collaboration
. I think it's called Raising Sands or something like that.
Produced by T-Bone Burnett, the songs are great, the music and playing are
great. It sounds fantastic, and the two voices are perfect together. A rare treat."

Well, now knowing that this record had some influence on Luka's new album
'Eleven Songs', I've been of course very curious to know a bit more about it... :-)

For everyone who hasn't heard it yet, and likes to know more too, here is
a website where you can listen to the songs from the album 'Raising Sand'.

...there are also a lot of great videos available,
here are just a few of the songs I liked most:

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss
Former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant and bluegrass/folk singer and fiddler Alison Krauss
may seem like an unlikely pairing. But listen to "Raising Sand" - their new album together
of folk, country, gospel and rockabilly numbers -- and it starts to make sense. Robert Plant
and Alison Krauss join us today to share it. (approx 30 min)

Krauss collaboration. I wanted to make something that had a timeless feel to it, where you could
hear the room and have good people playing together live. And we did it."

Can't wait to hear it... :-) :-)

...but THAT will be ON topic!!! :-)
