hello Luka ,I am a singer songwriter from Vancouver ,British Columbia ,Canada. My brother is a fan of Christy's and a fan of your music also. He 's been telling me that my music is quite similar in heart to yours and after listening to it I would have to agree, I have been writing songs for over thirty years and in my early years I played with my two brothers in a band that was very up and coming doing many shows as opening acts for major acts. Back in the mid 90s I made a choice to raise a family and put the so called rock and roll life on the back burner. My kids are almost grown up now and I am returning to try and rekindle a career. My father was a bricklayer from Liverpool and my families roots are from Ireland and Scotland. The last few years I have been playing mainly in churches , prisons , and for shelters such as the Salvation Army and the Union Gospel Mission, I would really like for you to listen to the cd that I have just recorded. I really am asking for some help or perhaps some advice as to who might be able to give me some guidance with my material and career.Could you let me know if you have time to give this a listen.I know you won't be disapointed.Cheers Gene

I just saw that you are coming back to America, I picked up tickets for the Rams Head in Annapolis in October. I can't wait. My wife an I used to see you everytime you were in the area, but it's been years since I saw you last. I am looking forward to this so much!

About twenty years ago I so much enjoyed your concert at Marktrock Leuven. Sunday evening at Maanrock Mechelen was a confirmation of what a very fine performer and songwriter Luka Bloom is. My wife, attending at a Luka Bloom concert for the first time, acknowledged all the good stuff I told her about you. We enjoyed every minute of the show and smoothly got carried away by the heartwarming songs. Thanks for a wonderful evening! Paddle on!
